Newtonian Physics

[mr. glasses is currently working on this page]

On this page, I will start from square one, and walk you all the way from 1D motion and 1D motion algabraic equations, all the way through vectors for 2D motion, forces, friction, mass, rotational motion, etc. So hold on to you seats! Every new section builds upon the previous section, so don't skip anything.

This page will be mostly dealing with physics concepts and math, not spacific code. I would like to point out that propor collision handling is key to a stable physics engine. Collision handling for a complex physics engine deserves it's own seperate page, and to be quite honest, I'm not sure how to do it. Expect to see that page after this one is mostly completed.

1D Motion

Motion is the changing of position over time.
