list of over-cloned games
So, you like it, and you want to make a game like it (or just rip off the resources of the original game). Unfortunately, if it could be one of the over-cloned games. Let this be ah warning tah ye. There is a 99% chance that if you make a clone of one of these games, people are going to roll their eyes and think "Oh, god, not again." Or worse yet, flame you. Don't ruin your reputation. Avoid cloning these games.
- 1. Mario
- There are fewer sands in the desert as there are bad Mario clones made by noobs.
- 2. Zelda
- Same as above, but not quite as many.
- 3. Halo
- We can't comprehend why there are so many Halo and Red Vs. Blue clones out there in 2D.
- 4. GTA
- Because the original GTAs were technically 2D, many people try it, and many people fail.
- 5. Pong
- Cloned by noobs because it's easy to do. It's a great first project, but not a good clone.
- 6. Pac-Man
- Same as above.
