Homebrew
Homebrew development is the process of amateur programmers creating new games and software for video game systems.
Homebrew development is gaining popularity as a window into computer science as most old video game consoles require that the games be programmed in assembly language. This is the case with game systems that use a version of the 6502 microprocessor because it is relatively easy to program in assembly.
