Codespanking is the art and science to taking once piece of code from one programming language and converting it to another programming language. While the term "codespanking" can refer to something like converting BASIC to C, this is usually called porting or translating. Codespanking, instead, often only refers to updating extremely old code, such as that found in old BASIC books and magazines.
