An area is section of space which is enclosed in one or more boundaries.
The area can have any shape, the most primitive being a square or circle.
The area itself is created by it's boundaries.

Measurement
The primary lengths of measurement of a square area are it's height and width.
The total space of the area can be calculated using this formula : A = height * width.
Circle
Measurement
The primary length of measurement of a circular area is it's radius.
The total space of the circular area can be calculated using this formula: A = 3.14 * radius2.

Condensation of Effect
Imagine an area filled with a poison gas. Each area contains an equal amount of gas. The smaller areas compress the gas and therefore cause more damage to the player.
